I like to bring together things that typically aren’t seen with one another. I find something unique in showing the beautiful differences in individual patterns and pieces when having them work side by side. I follow this sentiment in both my art and design as well as my life. I enjoy things like drawing, painting, and reading, but then I also enjoy belly dancing, playing video games, and writing short stories. I believe people should be able to unironically love all the things they enjoy doing with passion, and celebrate their eclecticness. My work is often bright and bold; I hardly believe in being muted. Each piece is trying to make a statement, and I believe that statement needs to be recognized, understood, and punctuated to its fullest potential. But just as I am an eclectic make of interests, talents, and hobbies, my work reflects a variety of mediums of print, sketch, and digital. My hope is to design work that has bold personality, but ideal functionality.
